A new firefighting boat could help the La Crosse fire department in their efforts in the search for a fourth missing boater.
>
Fire chief Gregg Cleveland says the new fire boat is a significant upgrade from their old riverboats. It has a built-in pump and a drop-down front gate that firefighters say makes it easy to load equipment.
>
Cleveland says so far the boat has surpassed all of the fire department’s expectations.
