Tim John is owner and president of the Milwaukee based Christian Printing Company Blue Mound Graphics. He's also the great-grandson of Frederick J. Miller.
John announced his candidacy Friday. In a news release, John said his first priority as Governor would be reducing the state's unemployment.
Already in the race seeking the Democratic nomination are Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and 18-year-old Jared Gary Christiansen.
Republicans in the running include Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker and former U.S. Rep. Mark Neumann.
