A 15-year-old girl from Minnesota City died last night due to injuries sustained after falling out of a truck on early Saturday morning.
The 15-year-old was riding in the back seat of a Dodge pick-up truck that was going about 20 to 25 mph.
The driver, who was a friend of the family, said the girl told him she didn’t feel well.
The next thing he heard was the back driver-side door open and she was no longer in the car.
A Winona-area ambulance came across the vehicle and the girl lying on the ground soon after it happened.
She was air-lifted to Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, where she died yesterday.
Police say there is nothing to indicate anything suspicious in the incident.
