Josh Mocarski's four years have been anything but easy. Not only does he suffer from cerebral palsy, but in January he developed Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. It took away his chance to be the featured child at Star Fest.
The timing disappointed his parents, who said they really wanted to help United Cerebral Palsy raise funds.
On Saturday, they'll get their chance. U.C.P. will be honoring Josh with a short walk and breakfast at Carson Park in Eau Claire. Folks can donate to U.C.P., and see Josh's progress first hand.
"We cherish every milestone he makes," Josh's mother Juanita said. "We don't take any of it for granted."
Someday Josh's parents hope he'll be able to get by in an assisted living situation.
‘Josh's Day In The Sun’ runs from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
