Man Involved In Standoff Bound Over For Trial
A Wausau man appears in Eau Claire County court on charges related to the standoff at the Quality Inn.

A Wausau man charged with two counts of false imprisonment after his involvement with a standoff at the Quality Inn in Eau Claire had his preliminary hearing Tuesday.

Kevin Kuhn, 28, appeared in Eau Claire County court and was bound over for trial.

Last month, police responded to the hotel where officers say Kuhn claimed to have a weapon and was holding a woman hostage.

After almost a 6 hour long standoff, a SWAT team used a stun grenade and stormed in the room. He was captured without injury and the woman was also unharmed.
