Two Bodies Recovered in Lake Michigan Save Email Print

Medical examiners say they've identified two of the six people killed in a Lake Michigan plane crash.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office says pilots Dennis Hoyes and Bill Serra were identified through dental records and DNA analysis.

The men and four others were part of an organ procurement team from the University of Michigan who was headed to Willow Run Airport near Detroit with donor lungs.

The Cessna Citation 550 went down at a high speed in the lake minutes after taking off from General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee Monday.

The medical examiner's statement says they are confident they would soon make positive identification of the remaining four occupants through DNA analysis.
