This summer the city of Eau Claire is expecting about 100 Hmong refugees from a camp in Thailand. Before they arrive, 25 members of Landmark Christian Church in Chippewa Falls will experience for themselves the type of living conditions that exist in that part of the world. On May 25th a group of adults and students will embark on a mission trip to a Hmong village in the mountains of Thailand. During their stay, they'll help build a chapel, and minister to the people of the region. Danai Chowwiwat is a minister at the church and has spent most of his life in Thailand and shares a specail bond with the Hmong of that country. He says he wants to go back and help the people and give back. Landmark Christian Church has abotu 180 Hmong members in its congregation.
