Dane County authorities have recovered the body of a Madison man, who presumably drowned over the weekend, after he ended up in a lake while boating with friends.
>
Twenty-six-year-old Cory Walker was on Lake Mendota Saturday night when he went in the water. Sheriff Dave Mahoney says it wasn't clear whether Walker meant to go swimming or fell in.
>
Investigators used sonar equipment to find Walker's body late Sunday morning.
>
Mahoney says at least some of the people on the boat were drinking, but he didn't know if alcohol was a factor in the drowning.
