The Eau Claire School Board has approved an offer to donate the Cleghorn School building to Pleasant Valley.
Officials from Pleasant Valley had also asked the school district to pay $21,000 to partially pay for demolition costs. The school board rejected that, but town officials say that they are still pleased to acquire the property.
Before any plans begin, however, the town still needs to accept the school board's offer, which Chairman Dan Hanson expects will happen, at a meeting later this month.
