Wanted Man
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department is still searching for a man who fled from deputies.

Deputies in Jackson County are still searching for a wanted man whom they say is very dangerous.
The Sheriff's Department says they tried to stop Robert J. Schafer in his vehicle on June 22nd for a probation violation but he took off on foot.
Schafer was recently released from prison and has been in court for many violations, including sexual assault of a child, battery to a police officer and bail jumping. There is a warrant for his arrest and anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the sheriff's department at 715-284-9009.
