Relay for Life

By Saturday morning hundreds of people will have very tired eyes and legs.

That's because the 11th Annual American Cancer Society's Relay for Life kicked off Friday evening at 6 p.m. and goes until Saturday morning at 9 a.m.

People walk with teams in a relay-style to raise money for cancer research and to support services and resources for cancer patients and their families.

The reason the walk takes place overnight, is because it's meant to symbolize the fact cancer never sleeps.

Organizers say they hope to raise $155,000.
