Authorities in Richland County say an 18-year-old died after falling from the back of a moving pickup truck.
Deputies responded to a call just before 5am Sunday of an injured man in the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities haven't released his name pending notification of his family.
The 20-year-old pickup driver was arrested and taken to the Sauk County Jail.
He's being held on tentative charges of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle.
