A man who told investigators he's a volunteer firefighter is now charged with arson and burglary.
Clark County prosecutors charged 26-year-old Daniel Quinn of Chili after deputies say he admitted to starting a fire in someone's shed the day before Christmas Eve. The fire happened in Spencer.
Deputies say he told them he lit a bale of hay on fire with a lighter, but stomped it out with his foot. He also told deputies he's a volunteer with the Chili Fire Department.
No one was hurt and no cows in the shed were killed. He'll be in court in March.
