A judge ruled a man accused of stabbing three people cannot enter a not guilty by reason of insanity plea.

Thirty-nine-year old Danny Tuttle is facing three counts of attempted first degree intentional homicide and two counts of burglary.

He's accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend's mother and two friends at a home near Cadott in September. According to court documents, at Tuttle's competency hearing Monday, the judge ruled he is not mentally ill to the point he can enter an insanity plea. His preliminary hearing is March 5.
