The cards were lucky for one La Crosse man, who pocketed nearly $200,000 in the world's most recognized poker tournament this weekend in Las Vegas.

Tom Peterson was eliminated yesterday from the World Series of Poker Main Event, finishing 52nd out of nearly 6,400 contestants.

Peterson paid $10,000 to enter.

He says the experience was a blast, and now he has something to work on for next year.
