Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitaion is in its third week under new management after receiving a number of state and federal regulations violations.
Pathway Health Services was approved by the state to take control of Lakeside from prior managers Extendicare. Officials say they plan to continue to meet with residents and their families to get feedback and to give updates.
Pathway has also received approval from the state for their plan of correction. "We've identified what those system issues are, as well as the state had identified them, and we get new components to the systems like new forms, policies, and procedures and train the staff on how to use those," says Chief Operating Officer Kim Hysjulien.
He also added that there were no criminal charges filed in connection with the incidents that were mention in the violations.
