Police officers in Lake Hallie will be cruising the streets and stopping crime now, in style.
Police Chief Cal Smokowicz says the department just got it's newest squad car. It replaces one that had more than 170,000 miles on it.
The new cruiser comes complete with a new dash cam system and a new moving radar system, paid for with grant money. And the squad car has a new reflective graphics package and other upgrades. The chief says a second new car is also on the way.
