The Taylor County Sheriff's Department says a 37-year-old Christopher S. Trainor of Withee was pronounced dead after a motorcycle crash Saturday evening.
Chief Deputy Larry Woebbeking says deputies were called to Gilman Dr., south of County Hwy M at 7:55 p.m. for a report of an unresponsive man on the road. Deputies say skid marks at the scene indicate the motorcycle skidded about 30 feet before Trainor was thrown from the motorcycle. Deputies say the motorcycle continued to slide another 60 feet before coming to rest. Deputies say it appears Trainor may have hit an animal causing him to lose control of the motorcycle. Trainor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
