The sequins and skates hit the rink at the Hobbs Ice Center this weekend, as the Eau Claire Figure Skating Club hosted its annual tournament.
More than 500 young athletes from all over Wisconsin and Minnesota, and even other Midwestern states, laced up their skates for the junior competition.
Organizers say the Eau Claire Cub's Learn to Skate program enrollment has increased after February’s Winter Olympic Games.
