Person trapped in vehicle after rollover
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department is investigating a one vehicle rollover accident on Highway 53 south of New Auburn.

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department is investigating a one vehicle rollover accident on Highway 53 south of New Auburn.
It happened Wednesday morning.
Captain Eugene Gutsch says there is one person involved in the crash. He says Mayo Helicopter was called to the scene to transport the woman.Gutsch says there was heavy fog in that area.
Witnesses say at the time of the accident the woman's vehicle was weaving back and worth on the road. The witnesses say the vehicle hit the shoulder and rolled several times.
Investigators say the woman was trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated.
She was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
