GRASS VALLEY, Calif. (AP) -- Prosecutors in Northern California say they're waiting for a police report before deciding whether to file drunken-driving charges against Green Bay Packers tight end Spencer Havner.
The district attorney's office in Nevada County, Calif., said Wednesday it hasn't yet received the report from the California Highway Patrol. The patrol says the 27-year-old was arrested Monday for suspicion of drunken driving after he lost control of his motorcycle on private property and crashed about 2:45 a.m. some 50 miles north of Sacramento.
His injuries included a broken shoulder blade.
Mark Humenik, whose agency represents Havner, says the player should be "fully recovered in short order."
Messages left with the Packers and the NFL were not immediately returned.
