An Eau Claire man accused of having child pornography will spend 10 years in prison.
A judge sentenced 38-year-old Scott Kappus in Eau Claire County Court Wednesday. He'll also be on extended supervision. A SWAT team raided Kappus' home on Hillview Road in Eau Claire in March 2009.
Court records show Kappus faced 12 counts of possessing child pornography, but all but three were dismissed. Kappus pleaded no contest to the three counts in September of last year.
