An Elk Mound woman will spend five years in prison for conspiring to distribute more than 50 grams of crack cocaine.
The Department of Justice says 35-year-old Tara Johnston pleaded guilty to the charge in December. Investigators say she was involved in the conspiracy to contribute the drugs in the Wisconsin Rapids area from 2005 to 2007 and again in 2009.
Johnston was charged as the result of a three year investigation by officers.
