Just months after the Chippewa Falls Shared Ride taxi program got brand new vans, they're already going in for repairs.
Program Assistant Cynthia Schmidt says the city got six new vehicles to use to offer rides for people in Chippewa Falls. But she says drivers found rear end suspension problems when they were inspecting the vehicles. While those get repaired the city says it's able to use two vans.
Schmidt says the service is still there, but people with standing appointments for medical or work reasons will get taken care of first.
