A new multi-use facility will be built at the Tower Ridge Recreational Area in the Town of Seymour in Eau Claire County.
A cross country ski group, the Eau Claire Ski Striders, have raised about $110,000 for the project, and another $68,000 was received through a D.N.R. grant.
Although the Striders have spearheaded efforts in the project, members stress it's for everyone to use.
Parks and Forest Director John Staszuk says there's a lot of other activities in the area including hiking, disc golfing, and horseback riding.
A ribbon cutting ceremony for the finished building is set for November 13.
