A southern Wisconsin woman died Sunday from injuries she suffered Saturday after a man fell on her at the Harley Owners Group foot race in Chippewa Falls.
Fifty-eight year old Carol Vickerman of Hazel Green was watching the rain suit race at the fairgrounds in Chippewa Falls when a participant stumbled and hit her from behind.
She fell backwards and hit her head on the pavement. Vickerman died yesterday of massive head injuries and a skull fracture.
Rally coordinators say the race involves contestants wearing over size rain suits cut off at their knees.
