Former President George Bush is at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

A Mayo spokesman says the former President is undergoing some routine tests. He says Bush's visit is expected to be short, and the clinic is not releasing other details at this point.

Bush, now 83, underwent successful replacement surgery on his right hip in January.

Bush had his left hip replaced at Mayo in 2000. Former First Lady Barbara Bush also had a successful hip replacement there in 1997.
