(WEAU) - The Eau Claire American Legion Auxiliary is working to help women veterans who are in need.
The legion held a special event to help raise funds and gather goods for any female vets who need them. The legion is also gathering toys and other gifts to help female vets and their families have a Merry Christmas.
Jane Dale with the American Legion Auxiliary told us Monday “women don't like to ask for help, we're always the ones who try to help other people so when it comes down to needing help, it's not easy for women to ask for help”
