Baldwin stops in Eau Claire two days before the elections

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate Tammy Baldwin made several stops across western Wisconsin today.

One of those stops was to a campaign office in Downtown Eau Claire.

The congresswoman spoke to a crowd of local volunteers, thanking them for their work on her campaign.

We talked to Baldwin one-on-one.

She says her bid for senate is on solid footing, and she'd feeling good heading into Tuesday.

Baldwin told us it's important for her to dispel those ads -- that paint her as an extreme liberal.

"It's important to me in the final days of this campaign to be out meeting people face to face and making my case as I am in Eau Claire right now, it does really come down to voters asking themselves the question, who's side are these candidates on? They know my record; I've been fighting for hardworking middle class families,” says Baldwin.
