(WEAU) - A group of Chippewa Falls school children were paid a visit by a member of a Grammy nominated band.
Bon Iver drummer Sean Carey stopped by Halmstad School Tuesday afternoon. He played a few songs for the kids at the head of his own band, S. Carey, took questions, and offered a few pieces of advice.
He says he hopes his appearance will have a positive impact on the students. Carey says "Its really fun and refreshing and I know when I was a kid, experiences like this or going to see concerts definitely shaped me and inspired me to play music."
He also says his experience on Saturday Night Live as a member of Bon Iver this past weekend was his best TV experience so far.
