Boys & Girls Club of Chippewa Falls officially opens its doors

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – The Boys and Girls Club has officially opened its doors Wednesday to the community.

Club organizers hope it'll give kids and teens a safe and fun space to go to after school.

The Boys and Girls Club is located in the Museum of Industry and Technology building on Grand Avenue in Chippewa Falls.

Kids ages 8 to 18 are welcome and the cost is just $10 a year.

Executive director Sara Antonson says the staff has been hard at work and is ready for kids to take part in the programs.

"We have the spaces setup, the walls are painted, we can't wait to get the artwork up and to get the club feeling like a boys and girls club,” says Antonson.

During winter break and when school is closed, the center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Regular hours will start January 3rd from 2:30 in the afternoon to 7 p.m.

To sign up, call the Boys and Girls Club of Chippewa Falls at 715-720-9206.
