CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis (WEAU)--It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in the Chippewa Valley. The annual lighted parade "Bridge to Wonderland" kicked off the holiday season in Chippewa Falls.
Hundreds line street, waiting to see Santa and Mrs. Claus.
This year's parade featured the record number of 57 floats and horse drawn carriages, all lit up, with holiday music. This year's theme is Christmas at the circus.
"As a community event it is spectacular, it's been going on for 23 years and we couldn’t have asked for a better turn out," said Teri Oymette.
The parade planning usually starts in February and around 25 volunteers helped to put it on this year.
