Stanley, Wis. (WEAU) - A local community is mourning Monday after a middle school coach passed away.
The Stanley-Boyd athletic director says Steve Skaare, who coached 7th grade football, died in his sleep Sunday night. He says Skaare was involved with the program for 10 years.
The Stanley Police say the death appears to be from natural causes.
The athletic director says his team is scheduled to play Tuesday, and the team plans to play.
