NEW INFORMATION: Name of interstate crash victim released

TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU) - We now know the name of the man who died in a rollover crash on I-90 Thursday morning.

The Wisconsin State Patrol identified the victim on Friday. He is Willard Large, 49, of La Crosse.

Large was driving west on the freeway, when he lost control of his car and rolled several times. Large was thrown from the car and died at the scene.


TOMAH, Wis. (WEAU) – A man who lost control of a car on the freeway and rolled several times has died.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Thursday on I-90 west near Sparta.

The Wisconsin State Patrol says the victim, who was thrown from the car, was a 49-year-old man from La Crosse died at the scene of the wreck. His name was not released.
