MADISON, Wis. (WEAU) - The Department of Workforce Development says an Eau Claire company is closing, and more than 100 workers will be out of a job.
Lifenet has notified the city and the county that it's ceasing operations in Eau Claire. The company says 120 employees will be let go by March 26. Lifenet's website says it provides in home care for the elderly and people with physical and developmental disabilities. It also has offices in Schofield and Medford.
The DWD is now helping those workers.
