Eau Claire Deputy Chief hangs it up after 28 years
Friday was the last day on the force for Deputy Chief of Detectives Eric Larsen of the Eau Claire Police Department.

(WEAU) – Friday was the last day on the force for a veteran member of the Eau Claire Police Department.
Deputy Chief of Detectives Eric Larsen is saying good bye after 28 years of service. Larson has held several positions over the years including narcotics officer, special operations, and detective.
He says he's proud of his time with the department.
Larson told us Friday "There is no finer police department in the state than ours, we have good quality people, we're very forward thinking."
He says he's planning on spending more time with family, teaching at CVTC, working as a private investigator, and doing some home brewing.
