Fireworks may be to blame for starting a hunting cabin on fire near Black River Falls

JACKSON COUNTY, Wis (WEAU)—Fireworks may have started a cabin on fire near Black River Falls. Fire crews were called to Township of Albion in Jackson County for a report of a structure fire Saturday night just before 11:00pm. Firefighters say they found a collapsed hunting cabin fully engulfed in flames. The owner of the cabin told firefighters she noticed the fire while getting ready for bed in the residence next door. Fire fighters fought the fire for an hour and a half. The cause is still under investigation but fireworks are suspected as a possible cause. No damage estimate is available yet.
