(WEAU) -- The bars were packed with people celebrating New Year's Eve on Monday. But it was also a night of fundraising for people who wanted to kick up their heels.
A New Year's Eve Dance was held at Christ Church Cathedral on Lake Street in Eau Claire. The proceeds go to Feed My People Food Bank.
The Thundermen, a band that used to play in the high schools back in the 1960's played at tonight's dance. Organizers say it is a bit of a blast from the past.
