DURAND, Wis. (WEAU) – A dazzling spectacle of lights paraded through downtown Durand on Saturday.
Organizers said the Durand Dazzle Day had 48 entries for its 13th annual lighted parade. The parade went through Main Street in downtown at 6:00 p.m. Among the paraders was a float full husky dogs, some local royals representing Little Miss and Mr. Durand.
Durand even hosted a Christmas tree decorating contest, with some kids using nature’s pinecones and leaves to make their tree one-of-a-kind.
A horse drawn carriage and trolley rides were available at Memorial Park.
Hungry neighbors also went to a local chili feed to support their local EMS for just $5.
