(WEAU) - People in Chippewa County will now be able to check on the status of inmates in the county jail.
Sheriff James Kowalczyk says the he has activated WI-VINE service, which notifies registered crime victims, law enforcement personnel and community members when offenders are released from jail, and also provides around-the-clock access to offender information.
