(WEAU) - The Chippewa Falls Park, Recreation and Forestry Department says this year’s Christmas Village will open Thursday, November 22nd at 5:00 p.m. It says at that time, they will light up the Community Tree.
The village will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The department also announced a new event at the Christmas Village this year. The 1st Annual “Run for the Lights” 5K Run/Walk will take place Saturday, November 24th at 4:00 p.m. It says registration is $20 a person or $50 for a family, with all the proceeds going to the Christmas Village.
