Woman who lost 3 kids in Argyle fire accused of ID theft

DODGEVILLE, Wis. (AP) -- A woman whose husband was convicted of starting a fire that killed three of their children and badly burned her is accused of identity theft while was she was recovering.

The Wisconsin State Journal reports (http://bit.ly/17XwviY ) Sharon Wand sustained third-degree burns over much of her body during Argyle fire in September 2012.

According to the criminal complaint, while at a Dodgeville nursing home the 28-year-old allegedly ordered flowers for herself from two different florists using names of at least five different people in May.

She faces six felony counts of identity theft.

In May, Wand was charged with three counts of misdemeanor theft after police said she stole jewelry, a ceramic figurine and other items at the same facility.

A message left Sunday for Wand's attorney was not immediately returned.

DARLINGTON, Wis. (AP) -- Jurors will come from Portage County for the trial of an Argyle man charged with helping his brother kill three of his young children in a house fire.

Lafayette County Judge Thomas Vale says questionnaires for potential jurors were sent last week for the trial of 18-year-old Jeremy Wand. The trial is scheduled for July in Lafayette County. The Wisconsin State Journal reports jurors will be sequestered.

Wand was charged after police said a fire he helped set with Armin Wand killed Armin Wand's three sons and the fetus of Armin Wand's wife, Sharon.

Sharon Wand was badly burned. A 2-year-old daughter, Jessica, also survived the fire.

Armin Wand was sentenced to three consecutive life terms without the possibility of parole in April after he pleaded to lesser charges.
