(WEAU) - A local Special Olympian has gotten a gold medal at the World Winter Games in South Korea!
Daina Shilts of Neillsville won gold in the snowboarding super giant slalom, winning by .22 seconds over a competitor from the Czech Republic. She also won two silver medals in the slalom and the giant slalom.
We want to send a big congratulation to Daina from everyone at WEAU.
