TOWN OF PERU, Wis. (WEAU) – A male was struck by a semi near the town of Peru Friday.
Officials say male was walking on the edge of the road with flow of traffic on the State Highway 85.
The male was pushing his bicycle and was not wearing any reflective clothing and did not have any lights.
As the semi passed the male he was struck by the trailer. The victim was flown to the Mayo-Rochester with non-life threatening injuries.
Semi driver was no injured. The crash remains under investigation.
