OWI News Release from Wisconsin State Patrol NW Region Spooner Post

Andrew T Graski, 21 years of age, from Amery has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Spooner Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 2nd offense, with 1 child in the vehicle.

On Friday evening, the Polk County Sheriffs Department received a report of a two-car crash on Highway 8 near Highway 65, east of St. Croix Falls. A Polk County Deputy and a State Patrol Trooper responded to the scene.

During the course of the crash investigation, the officers observed indications of marijuana use by Andrew Graski. Following field sobriety tests, Graski was arrested for operating while under the influence, second offense.

At the time of the crash, there was a 6 year old passenger in the vehicle. The child was picked up by her mother.

Graski was charged with criminal OWI, second offense operating after revocation, as well as possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Polk County Jail.

"Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is
presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
