SHELBY, Wis (WEAU)-- La Crosse County Sheriff's Department arressted 63 year old David Hyde Jr. of La Crosse for his 4th OWI Saturday evening.
Deputies say Hyde was traveling eastbound on Bliss road. Witnesses say the vehicle left the roadway and traveled in the ditch.
Witnesses say the vehicle than got back on the road and failed to negotiate a curve striking 5 vehicles parked in front of Alpine Inn Tavern. All vehicles had to be towed due to extensive damage.
Hyde was taken to the hospital with extensive facial injuries.
