EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - A man is charged after police say he almost hit two officers with his car during country jam.

A criminal complaint shows Terry Hintz, 54, is charged with two counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of OWI.

It says an Eau Claire police officer was directing traffic after Country Jam on July 19th when Hintz pulled up wanting to go onto a street that was shut down for concert traffic.

It says after being told three times to stay parked until the officer could get him through, Hintz sped off nearly hitting an officer just in front of his car, then nearly hitting a second officer who was nearby.

He was pulled over a short time later, where an officer said he could see Hintz throw a bottle of alcohol from hit car.

It says Hintz had a blew a .14 when he was arrested.
