Man injured, house total loss in fire

(WEAU) - One person was hurt in a house fire near Rice Lake this weekend.

Rice lake fire crews say they were called just before 7 p.m. Saturday, to a home on County Highway SS in the town of Oak Grove.

Crews treated the homeowner Ron Wilda for minor injuries to his eyes from the fire. He was taken to the hospital and released.

The home is a total loss, with damage estimated at $300,000

The cause is still under investigation.
