Boyd Fire Chief, Ron Patten, says a 24-year-old man was working for a company building a silo on the property and was on top of a skid steer when he fell about 10 feet.

BOYD, Wis. (WEAU)--A man was taken to the hospital after he fell off a skid steer.

Boyd Fire Chief, Ron Patten, says it happened around noon Thursday at a home near Boyd.

He says a 24-year-old man was working for a company building a silo on the property and was on top of a skid steer when he fell about 10 feet.
He was unconscious when crews got there and taken to Mayo Hospital in Eau Claire. His condition is not known.
