(WEAU) - It's the day after Christmas and already some of you are taking down Christmas trees. Now the question is…what to do with them?
The City of Eau Claire is making things easy by offering free tree recycling. It's called the Merry Mulch program. The city and county will collect live trees at Carson Park from now until January 20th.
The trees will be turned into mulch. Come spring, the mulch will be available to the public for landscape projects and it's all for free.
